History of Novagraaf
The history of the Novagraaf group started with the establishment of van der Graaf & Co's Merkenbureau NV in the Netherlands in 1888. After extending its reach beyond the Netherlands, the company changed its name to Markgraaf in 1978.
In August 2000, the Markgraaf and Novamark groups - both well-known international companies in the field of Intellectual Property - merged under the new name Novagraaf.
In 2002, the French company Cabinet Ballot was added to the group.
In February 2008, Novagraaf acquired QED Intellectual Property and Hillgate Patent Services in the United Kingdom.
The Novagraaf group has now become one of the top 10 IP firms in Europe, with offices in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
