Philippe Kohn

Philippe Kohn began his IP career in 1978 in a patent department of a multinational company. After 40 years of working in various patent industry and IP firm positions, Philippe joined Novagraaf Technologies in 2019.

Philippe is also an expert in wine & spirits law and works with national and international wine and spirits producers, distributors and retailers to ensure the protection and defence of their intangible assets through patents.

Philippe holds an engineering degree from the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers – ENSAM”. He is also a graduate of the “Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Industrielle” (C.E.I.P.I)”, with a specialisation in patents and trademarks (University of Strasbourg) since 1982.

Since 1978, Philippe has been working in the field of intellectual property in the industry (The Bendix Corporation - Ducellier Bendix Airéquipement, ITT Corporation, Renault) and later in IP firms.

Philippe has been a French IP Attorney since 1986 and a European Patent Attorney registered with the EPO since 1983.
