Niké Mion is a BMM-certified trademark and design attorney with 17 years of experience in IP law. She has extensive experience in advising clients of all sizes (SME, corporate and global) and has worked for both small and large trademark firms. At Novagraaf, she primarily supports international companies with the strategic management of global IP portfolios and customs matters.

Career history

Niké started her career in IP in 2006, working at two different trademark firms before joining Novagraaf in 2017. She obtained her Bachelor of Law (LL.B) in 2016 and became a Benelux-certified trademark and design attorney in 2021.

Work highlights

Niké specialises in providing advice on trademark availability, registrability and oppositions, supporting companies with filing strategies, conflict mediation and invalidity actions, and drafting coexistence agreements and licensing agreements. As well as her long-standing expertise in the strategic and efficient management of (international) IP portfolios, Niké also has a focus on customs matters, domain name and notice-and-takedown procedures and social media infringement, and has extensive knowledge of trademark protection in China.
