Armelle Blachier began her career in intellectual property in 2001, initially working in-house for a major French luxury group. She moved into private practice in 2023, joining several IP law firms, where she continued to develop her expertise. She joined Novagraaf in 2025 as a Trademark & Design Attorney and Team Leader.
Career history
Armelle holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada), as well as a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Industrial Property and New Technologies from CUERPI – Université de Grenoble. She has been a French Trademark and Design Attorney (INPI) and a European Trademark and Design Attorney (EUIPO) since 2005.
Memberships
Armelle has been actively involved with the National Institute of French IP Attorneys (CNCPI) for several years.
From 2023-2024, she served as Co-Chair of the ‘Future of the Profession Committee. Since 2025, she has been Co-Chair of the ‘AI Tools & Modernisation of IP Firms’ Committee.
She is also a member of the Association of Practitioners in Trademark and Design Law (APRAM).
