John Fernand

John Fernand is the Head of Contracts and Recordals at Novagraaf France.

Career history

John holds a Master’s degree in Digital Law from the University of Poitiers, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Law with a focus on IT Law, obtained at the same university.

He has been the Head of the Patent Contracts and Recordals Department at Novagraaf France since November 2025. In this role, he manages the processing of recordals for large IP portfolios for a diverse clientele, including large corporations, public institutions, SMEs, individual inventors, patent management companies, and foreign agents.

He also drafts patent-related contracts, including assignments, licensing agreements, and research and development (R&D) contracts.
