Career history
Karen obtained her Master’s degree in Law from the University of Grenoble and the Centre Universitaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche en Propriété Intellectuelle CUERPI) in Grenoble, where she specialised in Intellectual Property, Business and Contract Law. Karen spent eight years as IP and Legal Counsel for the Swiss luxury goods company de GRISOGONO SA in Geneva, where she gained knowledge in various legal areas, including managing global IP portfolios, before joining Brandstock Switzerland in 2015.
Work highlights
Karen has built up considerable experience advising on trademark filing strategies and managing portfolios for multinational companies. She is involved in the creation and valuation (IP due diligence, clearance searches, filing, portfolio valuation, contracts) of IP rights, as well as enforcement (formal notice, opposition, infringement seizure, pre-litigation proceedings, negotiation, administrative litigation and anti-counterfeiting).
