Mariëlle Hoffer

Mariëlle Hoffer is a BMM-certified (Benelux) and European Trademark Attorney and Senior IP Consultant with extensive experience in the fields of trademark, design, trade name and copyright law. She also specialises in providing advice on domain name procedures.

Career history

Mariëlle studied Business Law at the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). She worked at a Dutch production company before joining Novagraaf in 2006. Marielle obtained her diploma from the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Attorneys training institute in 2009 and completed the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme in 2019.

Work highlights

Through her activities for a large number of global clients, Mariëlle has gained specialist knowledge in coordinating and managing large international trademark portfolios.

Memberships

Mariëlle is a member of the BMM and the ECTA Harmonisation Committee. The BMM certification is a recognised quality mark for trademark attorneys in the Benelux.

Honours

Mariëlle is recognised as a Netherlands Trademark Leader in the World Intellectual Property Review Leaders Directory (2022 and 2023 editions).
