Matjuša Jakopin

Matjuša Jakopin manages a team of lawyers and IP specialists in the Ljubljana office. She is a certified Slovenian and European Trademark and Design Attorney and has built up a profound knowledge of IP-related matters during her career. Matjuša has particular expertise in managing global IP portfolios and provides clients with strategic advice on the development, protection, exploitation and optimisation of their portfolios as well as on licensing and conflict resolution options.  

Matjuša currently manages a team of 16 IP specialists.

Career history

Matjuša graduated from the University of Ljubljana in 2008 and obtained a Master's of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Hamburg in 2014. She gained experience in an international corporate law firm and subsequently at a leading global entertainment company before joining Brandstock Legal in 2017.
