Olivier Boland is an Industrial Property Attorney at Novagraaf France, specialising in trademarks, designs and models, and has been a Representative before the EUIPO since 1996.
Olivier led the trademark business at Novagraaf in France from 2008 to 2025 and now focuses on the creation and valuation of IP rights (filing, portfolio evaluation and contracts), as well as their enforcement (cease-and-desist letters, opposition proceedings, pre-litigation procedures, negotiations, administrative litigation and infringement actions).
Career history
Olivier gained a Master’s degree in Economics from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) in 1976. He began his career in the field of intellectual property in 1978 at a Paris-based IP firm, which he went on to lead from 1997. In 2000, he joined Novagraaf France as a Team Leader.

Olivier is a member of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA), the Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
