Career history

He has helped clients of all sizes, from small to multinational companies, in various sectors such as gaming, fashion and FMCG to identify, protect and enforce valuable IP assets, including trademark and design rights. His practice includes acting on behalf of clients before the UK and EU Intellectual Property Offices in relation to trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings and leading settlement discussions, representing clients in domain name disputes before various domain name registries (including UK’s Nominet Dispute Resolution Services and the WIPO Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy), and the registration of clients’ IP rights with UK customs.  

With extensive experience across numerous aspects of IP brand protection and prosecution, Alban provides clients with a holistic perspective, anticipating potential issues and opportunities that might otherwise be overlooked. His broad expertise allows him to craft strategic, commercially focused advice that safeguards and strengthens brands in an evolving marketplace.
