Omar Hassan

Senior IP Legal Counsel Omar Hassan joined Novagraaf Switzerland in 2024.

Omar advises clients on intellectual property strategy and protection, litigation and pre-litigation matters, negotiation and drafting of agreements, as well as tailored searches and the monitoring of their rights.

Career history

Before joining Novagraaf Switzerland, Omar had over 20 years’ experience in IP, including 15 years in in-house roles at Nestlé and Merck. He has worked at several renowned intellectual property firms in Switzerland and Singapore.

Omar holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) from the University of London. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva.

Omar is a member of the Swiss IP Association AROPI (Association Romande de propriété intellectuelle).
